it’s not hard to tear up
a bad poem
it’s harder to realize
that a woman who was once
good
has now been altered and
dissolved under
drugs
has become a harsh
fragmented other
self.
where do they go
and why?

it’s not as hard to tear up
a bad poem
you can most probably create
a new one.

when a human goes under
there might be a reason
and that’s their right,
of course.

of course, of course, of
course.

but the sadness is
barbaric
and the joke
one of the dirtiest ones
in this town or
in any other place
where the dead supply
death
to the dying.
