mouth

there are certain men who simply
talk and talk and talk
they’ll talk a woman’s pants right off.
I’d never talk that long for any piece of
ass upon this earth
but they will and do.
and their conversation is not interesting
but it’s persistent and continuous.
to a woman it means that she is getting
attention
and the ladies thrive upon this
but they do not understand
that these men are not interested
in them
they are using an old trick that
works.
I’ve left them with some of my women
out of sheer disgust
watching the action
I have turned away
not because I didn’t believe
in genuine affection
but because I did.

these dull fellows are
everywhere.
I look to the woman who can see
beyond them.
