little magazines and poetry chapbooks

the mailman keeps bringing me more
magazines and books
and the cops bust the whores
and the terrorists hold hostages
and the wetbacks work the fields
the Savings and Loan Associations
employ pale thin girls
and the mailman stacks it up
outside my door
as I listen to
Sibelius.
