listening to the radio at 1:35 a.m.

switch the station:
man plays the piano in the grand
dream.

there are nice houses
on the ocean shore
where you can
take your drink
out on the varanda
and
watch the waves
thrashing in the dark
and
you can feel crappy
too

just like me
having a dog fight
with these walls
20 miles inland.
