farewell

it is totally astonishing
the amount of trash and garbage
most minds gather
from infancy to death.

that trash and garbage often becomes
idealistic truth to these minds
truth they will kill for
gods they will bow to.

these people are as familiar as
fathers, mothers, wives, neighbors,
policemen, dentists, presidents,
trapeze artists, etc.

the mind guzzles waste like a suction cup
the eyes dim under the weight of the muck
the face exceeds any horror show ever devised
the voice tonality grates under the weight of the lie.

thousands of years of billions of lives wasted.

enough that the sun might burn us alive
if we were alive.

enough enough of humanity
that last dinosaur
moving in dark and darkened honor
unrecorded
slipped away
slopped
rancored
rancid
impaled on zero

more than enough
and
never enough.
